He's still here!

Just realized that I haven't posted anything in almost 3 years!  Just wanted to put a little note out there that Daddy is still here and is doing great.  He was actually released from his surgeon this past year.  He continues to show up at Purple Stride Charlotte to support others, and continues to enjoy his grandchildren.  Since his diagnosis, he has been around to meet 3 more grandchildren and his daughter-in-law. We are beyond thankful and give glory to God for this miracle in our family.  I hope that anyone who stumbles across this blog is encouraged by our story.  We know that he is in a small sliver of survivors who make it this far (this past fall marked 8 years since he was diagnosed), and we know that we have been tremendously blessed.
